While reviewing a modern movie, I had to see if Fandango had Forrest Gump in its database. It's one of, if not the, best movie ever. Could not have been written any better. Seriously. And Tom Hanks just ravages the lead role. It's no wonder why the godfather of movie critics, Roger Ebert, gave the movie a perfect score of 100. Simply unheard of.

Its like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get. We did get an awesome performance from Tom Hanks, a great story and a well directed movie from Robert Zemeckis (Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Back to the Future). We saw a man encounter almost every popular historical event that anyone could possibly encounter. We witnessed a simple yet noble man who stuck it out, one step at a time and came out successful. College graduate, army vet with a medal of honor, ping pong champ, millionaire. Great cast too, Lt. Dan (Gary Sinise), Jenny (Robin Wright Penn), and we can't forget about Bubba (Mykelti Williamson) who in my honest opinion should have been nominated for an academy award for best supporting actor. All n all, this is the quintessential movie that wins awards, emotionality, inspiration, humor, they should nominate it again, Lol. Just joking, thats my que. Oh yeah, lets enjoy the awards this year and except the nomnees of this year are not as good as nominees.
