Total Chick Flic!
If you are looking for a great movie that is going to stick with you for a long time...then don't watch this. THis is a total get the girls together, rent all girlie chic flic movies, and have a marathon of hot guys and unrealistic love. Matthew & Kate have great chemistry together and the movie is interesting with a decent plot to it. But don't force your boyfriends to watch it....they are just not going to like it.
So like I said for you girls who just love those chic flics - then this is a must see!! Acting is good, story good, and the chemistry between them is off the charts. You'll leave with a smile on your face and great dreams!!!

I felt like a fool after wasting my time with this movie!
First of all, McConaughey and Hudson have ZERO chemistry. The didn't in "10 ways" and they still don't. They just don't fit.
The first 40 minutes of this movie DRAGGED. It was boring and I was hoping that the meat of the movie would be better. But it was just as bad as the beginning.
There were too many people chasing each other. The action scenes were completely far-fetched and unbelievable, to the point where I lost attention because I was thinking about how ridiculous it was. A chest falls into the ocean and just happens to land on the head of the guy McConaughey is fighting underwater? Yeah, uh-huh.
This movie is supposed to be a romantic comedy. Well I might have laughed twice, but both times were because I was laughing at how stupid this movie is. Romantic? Not quite. There wasn't a time in the movie that I hoped to see "Finn" and "Tess" together again.
Don't waste your time or money. I wouldn't even suggest watching it on DVD. Yeah, it's THAT bad.

Fools Gold
This was a fun, wacky, love filled adventure. Matthew & Kate are gorgeous & amazing together. The thinking part of this film gave the movie weight so it's more than just a romantic comedy. Anyone who's been so in love they've been frusturated by someone elses problems that ruin their own life, will relate to the movie on a whole different level.

Adorable Romance Comedy
Another night out with the girls..we choose a chick flick this time.
This was a laugh out loud, non stop comedy about a couple. Who are connected by the love of adventure, and the love of each other. While searching for the kings treasure, the fighting "broken-up" couple join again because it's what they love.
Very cute, girly, happy ending.
My ex can relate haha

It's not Matt and Kate's fault this movie stunk...
Those two have real chemistry...It was evident from my favorite movie of all time "How to lose a guy in 10 days". This movie didn't even give them a real chance to interact the way I thought they would and at one point I wondered what the movie was about. I thought the movie would be about them, and their adventures looking for gold. Boy, was I off base!! There were so many other characters who had so much dialogue I totally forgot that Kate and Matt were in it. I was so disappointed that I missed this when it was in the theater's and I rushed out to get it this week, but this is a movie I could have never seen. In spite of this bad project, I hope that the two of them will get to play opposite each other again with good material.

Really bad
The only reason it doesn't get an "oh no" is because it is filmed in a beautiful location. The story is far fetched. The comedy is slapstick. The movie is predictable. The dumb debutante was added for laughs, but she was just way too annoying to be funny. There was a gay couple who added nothing to the plot. Even though it was a comedy, the bad guy - Big Bunny - killed some people. The story was about a search for lost treasure and it brings the characters of Hudson and McConaughey together because they were the only ones smart enough to figure out where it was hidden. It was just not a good movie.
