    Flawless

    by chrisratesmovie

Flawless, starring Demi Moore and Michael Caine, is a film which gave Demi Moore a sort of ?trial run? at a period piece. To be frank, one must see it as such and if one decides to give this film a gander, one would find that Demi stepped up to the plate. While Michael Caine seems a bit more fitting to the portrayal given that the film takes place in London, Demi is a bit of a stretch. But, to her credit, she does quite well playing the British role. The acting was good all around, and importantly, the story was intriguing. Mostly, the writing is good in terms of delivering a tight story that leaves surprises and twists that the majority of jewelry heist plots simply do not deliver on. I was pleased with the acting, as well as the plot. The charm of this film is owed to the acting, and to the timing of the plot reveal. I recommend this film to anyone who has the patience for a mature, diamond caper film that also delivers originality and intrigue in an old fashioned sort of way.

    Flawless

A superb movie with lots of suspense, twists and turns. No blood, sex, or bad language. A plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the end. Fine for the family to see.

Good story! The acting and character realtionships were very entertaining; the period make up and costumes were terrific.

    No flaw in this film!

Here we have a little gem for those who like complicated suspenceful heist films. The incomparable Michael Caine at his best, Demi Moore giving a stellar performance, and a fine supporting cast. Director Michael Radford of El Postino fame is sure and steady at his job, resulting in a thoroughly satisfying experience. Set in London in the 60's it may not be everyone's taste, but if you like a good robbery, go see this!
