World War Z comes to home video (pre-order it Aug. 27), featuring Brad Pitt taking on ravenous, lightning-fast zombies hunting him and his family. In honor of all the gory, ghoulish and pulse-not-required denizens of cinema, we present the top 10 best living dead movies. Take a bite!
I think remakes should not be included. Instead you should have had Zombieland and Lucio Fulci's ZOMBIE (1979). The eye gouging and shark attack scenes are classic!
This movie rocked Pitt was really good. He was a lot better than any one of his other Movies. Thank GODAngeline wasn't in it . He acts a whole different way.
i agree, zombieland is already a classic in my opinion. But i also love Shaun of the Dead.
Seriously? Zombieland didn't make the cut?!?!? It has all the humor of Dead 2 plus all the gore of Re-animator PLUS Bill Frickin Murray! I love Jackson and Snyder, but do either of their entries truly compare to Zombieland? I think I'll make my own list.

I forgot Seepent and the Rainbow could be considered zombie.
This was very very good it started with action and ACTION was ALL the way through to the end I would tell U something BUT it would spoil the movie. WATCH the MOVIE
I was surprised that 28 Weeks Later didn't make the cut. it was voted best horror film of the year and I feel it was better than 28 Days Later. That's just my opinion.
Glad to see 28 Days Later make the cut- one of my favorite films ever! For some more suggestions and sick zombie art, check out my artist's blog at [BLOCKED WEBSITE]
