No one saw the winner of this past weekend’s box office coming, to the point that we didn’t even include the film in our Box Office Poll on Friday. Yup, The Help surprised everyone by beating out all of the new releases with $20.5 million, which was more than enough to take first place. So what’s up? How come no one went to the movies this weekend? You can answer that question in the comments, and if you did go to the movies then feel free to rate the films you saw

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance looks like it used the bones of the first film to pick its teeth. There's so much texture here, so much grit and grime that was missing from Johnson's film (arguably the worst Marvel film to date). Take a look and let us know what you think.
Not to be outdone by his brother Ridley, whom Deadline revealed this morning would be returning to make another Blade Runner movie, Tony Scott is in talks to reboot two classic movies. Here’s what they’re up to this week!

If you’re a fan of Chinese cinema and like Sherlock Holmes, then Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame should be right up your moviewatching alley. Starring Andy Lau, Bingbing Li, Carina Lau and featuring stunning fight choreography from Hong Kong action star Sammo Hung, we're proud to present an exclusive first look at several production stills.
