Mere days after the impressive first trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman was released, we get a look at the first trailer for the other Snow White movie. This one stars Julia Roberts, Lily Collins and Armie Hammer and is helmed by Immortals director Tarsem Singh. So which trailer do you like better and what are your thoughts on the new trailer?
All three new releases were pretty much trashed by critics. But we're not here for to talk about what critics thought, we want to know what you thought. Sounds off with your thoughts on this past weekends new releases, inside!
Check out three new images for Pixar's Brave that have arrived online featuring the film's lead star, Merida, a feisty princess who attracts all sorts of trouble to her kingdom when she breaks an ancient custom. Also, Disney announces that a Tangled short will play before Beauty and the Beast 3D.
The brand spanking new Hunger Games trailer premiered this morning on Good Morning America, and it definitely packs a larger punch than that first initial teaser. This one does a great job of setting up the premise while not giving away too much. Check it out, inside!
Not only will is this weekend one of the most popular for those getting married, but it also marks the quiet before the Twilight storm. This weekend, we’ve got a 300 look-a-like in Immortals, a potential Oscar contender in J. Edgar, and an Adam Sandler movie that features twice the Sandler (though we’re not sure if that means twice the laughs too). Let’s take a closer look …
In a tweet heard around the internet, Billy Crystal officially announced his new Oscar hosting gig with a joke, sending folks scrambling to confirm whether or not Crystal was serious. Apparently, he is and will replace Eddie Murphy as the host for the 84th Academy Awards.
The folks over at Lionsgate will be releasing the second trailer for The Hunger Games on Monday. Josh Hutcherson will guest on Good Morning America to prem the new trailer which will have a lot of eyes on it following the lukewarm reception of trailer one. Studio execs also say the movie has to make at least $100 million to warrant sequels.
Following yesterday's debacle in which Brett Ratner stepped down as producer of the next Academy Awards ceremony, the person he chose to host, Eddie Murphy, has done the same. Who do you think should host the Oscars?
Considering the fact that folks love a good, meaty controversy, it was only a matter of time before Brett Ratner was forced out of the producer's position. Yesterday the Academy issued a statement standing behind Ratner, dishing out the old "if it happens one more time ..." as if he gave some kid a wedgie in the schoolyard. But critics would not let it go, and today, Ratner stepped down.

Arriving in limited release this weekend is a film that took the Sundance Film Festival by storm, winning the fest’s top Grand Jury honors while earning a $4 million sale courtesy of Paramount Pictures.
