Great Family Movie

The acting was questionable, however you find yourself getting lost in the message and story and it makes everything well worth it.

God at a Cinema?

My bother has been trying to get me into a movie theater. However, even mild, unwanted humor and sensual scenes are too annoying. That changed when I heard Casting Crown's music being played to an advertisement. After checking out the movie, I was surprised by "It has been an incredible run for a movie that was produced by a church on a donated budget of $100,000."
The movie was great! The acting and production has a natural family like polish. My sister-in-law loved the movie and the family time at Lancaster -- over a hundred miles away from where I live.
See if you can name the popular CCM songs.
It is very refreshing to see a movie reflecting, unapologetically, your faith. The message about God taking care of your problems is very down to earth. There is nothing in this film that would be considered offensive. Unless, of course, you think football is too violent for your children -- Hence the PG rating.
Yes, God can be properly represented in a movie!

glorifying god

I thought this movie was the best movie I had seen in along time. After watching it, I just wanted to glorify God in every way I could. its nice to see people with such faith and glorifying god like the ones in this movie.

Always give thanks

Facing the Giants is a great movie and is very is inspiring. It is a must see movie. I almost didn't buy this movie, now that I have seen it I'm so glad I did. If, when you watch it and you are not moved by it there is something wrong. Go watch it or buy it and watch it and make sure you have some tissues with when you do.

a very moving movie

This is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time....we need more like this. It is a great Christian movie....with a wonderful message.Movies like this one could turn the violence in our schools and nation around. There are too many movies out there full of violence, hatred and just down right meaness. It is a must see! Thanks to those who made it possible!

Facing The Giants

The acting was not overall the best, some of the story was a little predictable, but this was still the greatest movie we have ever seen!!! We challenge anyone to see this movie and not be lifted up! It is so refreshing to see a movie that has no sex, no curse words, no violence (other than football) in it and still has you sitting on the edge of your seat and cheering throughout the movie. You will probably cry at some point and will most definitely cheer at the end, and maybe stand up and applaud. Everyone else did along with us at the viewing we attended. When this becomes available on DVD we will certainly be one of the first in line to own it.

Facing the Giants

Ten minutes into this movie my husband wanted to go. I am so glad we did not!!! So was he. The acting is not that great, but hang in there it will grab hold of you and you will be so glad you stayed. It is a movie that you come out of going they need to make more like this one. You just feel so inspired and so good. You will want to buy it!!!

A DEFINITE MUST SEE

This is an excellent movie. The fact that one church put up the money for this movie, wrote the screenplay, and did everything else is amazing. I will agree that the acting wasn't the normal movie theatre quality, but you have to realize that this isn't a Hollywood production. I will tell you though that this will touch the heart of even the most cold hearted person. I have seen this movie three times now and I always get something from the movie and it never gets old. That is what classifies a great movie, one that you can see over and over again and it never gets old. I would definately tell everyone that you have to see this movie. It will be one that people will be talking about for a very long time, and you don't want to be out of the loop. There is something in this movie for everyone.

Go Go Go!!!!

WOW! This IS the movie to see! Take your friends.......take your enemies! You won't regret it! This movie needs to be promoted so EVERYONE has a chance to see it! Great acting. Great theme..... Hollywood needs to sit up and take notice. THIS is the family-type of movie they need to produce more of!
