Could anyone have made a film less exciting or more boring? From the preview in which Grieg's Piano Concerto was played to video of an unidentified body of water in which the scene didn't change for minutes and multiple choice questions about Grieg's life were displayed on screen, I became disinterested. Then the body of the documentary itself in which no effort was made to enliven the scenes began to bore me. True, Munch was an artist who suffered from depression, but the interviews with curators at the museums in Oslo and the background music were lifeless. One wanted to escape by either leaving the theatre or falling asleep.

I LOVED IT. PLEASE DO MORE OF THIS SORT OF THING. I AM DISABLED AND TO BE ABLE TO SEE AND HEAR ABOUT THE WORKS OF A MASTER WAS FANTASTIC. I COULD NEVER SPEND 11/2 HRS HAVING A GUIDED TOUR IN A MUSEUM.
LOOKING FORWARD TO VERMEER

I thought the presentation itself was wonderful. Munch was an amazing artist. I had no idea the body of work he produced during his lifetime. I was previously only familiar with a few.
The only bad part was the theater crew didn't start the presentation until almost 8 o'clock.
Other than that everything went fine except I forgot to turn my cell phone back off and wouldn't you know it went off during the film! It was that kind of day and night. I can't wait for the next fathom event!

Wasn't sure what to expect of seeing art on screen. It was well done. I never would have had the opportunity to see this incredible collection of art. The works shown were very good - and it was presented with a good balance of info on the artist and the art. Very good. Definitely worthwhile seeing?

Wonderful experience! This 150-year commoration celebration in Norway takes us to their National Gallery as well as the Munch Museum. Interviews with curators and experts were very enlightening. Presentation was well organized in a simple and educational fashion. Well worth the ticket price!
