Impressed

This movie is great! The only "disappointment" I had, was the tree rape scene...they could've done that a lot more gruesome and intense! Which is how it should've been. My husband and I loved it. We were a bit iffy about it, bc it's a remake...and a lot of horror remakes just do not do justice, but this one tops them. Great movie! Love the gore....wish bits hadn't been cut out. Go see it. It'll make you giggle! The ending was my favorite part, was surprised they showed something like that in the cinema! Yay! Not recommend for children, lol, but I think that should be obvious GROOVY

We had a great time. It was just about everything you could hope for if you are a fan of the trilogy. All the characters were great, the ending took me by surprise even though some one had given it away to me. I'll have to get the DVD becasue I covered my eyes a few times! But fun fun fun, scary, scary, scary!

I thought this was going to be a horror movie, but it turned out to be a gory movie. It was not scary at all, just disgusting.

Great movie remake with a more serious horror overtone vs original movie comedy-like feel. The gore was fabulous & overall movie was well delivered. Now anxious about a Prequel or Sequel. This is definitely a must see for horror & gore fans!!! You truly won't be disappointed!!!

Too much gore and too little plot

There is virtually no set-up for the story line - the characters just appear in the woods at a cabin. The gore made me physically ill at least twice, and I'm *not* the type of person to have such a reaction to a movie. The acting was respectable, and the effects were convincing - as evidenced by the audience's reaction to the gore. Wait for it on Netflix.
