  What We Do For Love

  This was a nice trip back into Broadway musical history, with a nice twist, in that the casting for the revival of A Chorus Line, is the backdrop of the story about the late choreographer/director, Michael Bennett's creation of a show which portrays the deep yearnings of every professional dancer/performer. You find yourself identifying with both the auditioning dancers and the director, choreographer, and producer's search for artistic expression, truth, and, frankly, a job. There were some weaknesses: The filming was not crisply shot or edited and a favorite number, "Nothing", was not featured at all. It would have been nice, as well, to learn more about what happened to the original cast, since it was their yearning and ambition, not just Bennett's, which drove the original to begin with.

  a MUST SEE for any musical theatre person

  This is a master class in auditioning. you also get to see and hear never before seen/heard footage of the original tapes and original cast of A Chorus Line. It was awesome. i will definitely see it again. I can't wait to OWN it. great documentary.

  Don't Miss it!

  While we expected a good film, we were blown away by just how good this one was.....the story we know...the music we know...yet the production was so clever, dramatic, and entertaining....there wasn't a dry eye or a satisfied grin on everyone's face.

  Every Little Step

  A beautiful story of commitment, talent and the drive it takes to make a dream come true. These people are not only the greatest athletes in the world but also the most beautiful dancers. This film is well worth seeing.
