VERY ENJOYABLE

I look forward to seeing it again with other members of my family. Very enjoyable movie with a positve message, positive religious overtones and loaded with comedy that actually made me laugh out loud a few times.

DON'T LISTEN TO THE CRITICS RATINGS, WHAT DO THEY KNOW? THE ENTIRE MOVIE THEATER WAS LAUGHING, THAT INCLUDES ALL AGES FROM ADULTS TO KIDS. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! FUN ENTERTAINMENT WITH A LOT OF LAUGHTER AND SMILES! EVEN THE END WHEN THEY RAN THE CREDITS WAS FUN! DON'T MISS THIS. PRECIOUS! gv

I went to a premier and this is one good movie! Acting was a little "over" and alot of slap stick humor, but the whole theater was roaring. I new 4 other people who went that really liked it and no one at the premier that I talked to didn't like it.

Good Family Movie!!!

I took my 2 sons to see this and we all liked it a lot. My sons are 9 & 11 years old. I had read some bad reviews on the Yahoo site, and decided to take them anyway. I think it's a great movie to take your kids to. I wouldn't recommend it to two adults who are heading out on a date, perhaps... as it wouldn't appeal to all. But, for a kids movie / family movie... it was a really good movie. It had comic entertainment, combined with some nice meaning and messages within the story line. And, lots of good upbeat music, with a great ending that makes you want to get up and dance :)

Better than Bruce Almighty

Watching this movie made my weekend. The writers seemed to be very knowledgable about biblical references, and that is a rarity these days. The movie doesn't slam christianity, but I don't think that it makes viewers who aren't of any religion uncomfortable either. It was a feel good movie and the cast did an incredible job. This would be good for people of all ages!

Very nice movie with a good message. Took my 2 grandchildren and we enjoyed it a lot. Very enjoyable and we laughed a lot. Would recommend it highly.

The message in Evan is a little more overt than the subtle but equally beautiful message of Bruce Almighty. Tom Shadyac is like his own Noah withstanding ridicule from critics and skeptics. I loved this movie. It kept a smile on my face and a tear in my eye. I wonder if God told Shadyac to cast Morgan Freeman. ;)He is so amazing...

definitely marketing to the wrong target audience, it was a straight up kids movie. It had none of the charm of Bruce Almighty, the two movies are different as night and day. Who dropped the ball on this one?

Actually kept the kids attention!! Noone talked during the movie!!

My kids gave these tickets to my husband for fathers day. This was the first movie that all five of us enjoyed together...Good message, kids humor, and easy to follow. Actually kept the kids attention... no talking during the movie!! Our ages range from 8-36. We had a great family night. Thanks!!

This is a great family film! Our 5 and 7 yr. olds laughed and so did we. It was silly, ridiculous and fun. No worries about bad language or sex slipping in. I'm as likely to laugh at some unclean humor as the next person (not something I'm proud of) but this movie leaves you feeling happy with no "except for the *** part." The length of the movie was perfect (not too long) and the message was worthwhile. I wasn't necessarily a fan of Steve Carrell's prior to this film but I really enjoyed his performance. Sometimes the unlikely film is the one that makes the most sense. I think it should be seen on the big screen for better impact.

Better than the Reviewers Said!

This was more fun than I expected. Good family movie. Steve Carell is wonderful. I did not really want to go because the reviews were so bad. But my kids wanted to see it. And I laughed SO hard! Funniest movie I have seen in a long time.
