Arnold and Sly a Great Pair!

Sly was more serious this time and Arnold played the comedy relief. A great story and good interaction between these two. Jim Caviezel played a great bad guy, but I kept getting flashbacks to The Count of Monte Cristo! Really entertaining.

Yeah, it's true if you were looking for a great plot, go and look somewhere else. But let's be honest, you probably already new that. Let's face it, your main reason to see this movie are probably their stars - Stallone and Schwarzenegger. Both actors do not disappoint and make this a great action movie.

I am a fan of this genre. I am a fan of Swartzenegger. I am lukewarm on Stallone but the reviews said they had fun and chemistry with each other. May be they did but Stallone, the director, and the script screwed the deal. I have only walked out of two other movies in my life but I almost walked out 2/3 of the way through this turkey. Stallone is so smug it was sick (not the good way). He seemed so charmed with himself he didn't seem like he needed to act. The script was a disaster with one improbable and stupid thing after another. The direction was awful. The whole movie was choppy and stupid. The last breakout scene at least had some action but silly. I would not have enjoyed this at home for $2.00. I wasted my time and money.

This was the terrible duel disaster movie of the year!

This movie was incredibly slow to develop any sort of a plot with lousy acting on Stallone's part. Luckily we had Arnold to fall back on but it was not nearly enough to sustain my attention. I walked out of the theatre 40 minutes into the movie very disappointed and wanting my money back. Nothing ever happens worth sticking around to see the end. I felt my time was better spent going home to wash my hair and hope for a better experience the next time I go to the movie. DO NOT waste your time or money on this one. Not even rental worthy.

It's great to see the stars we watched grow on film in the 90's who are now getting older (like us) . Sly and Arnold delivered, although I DO feel ARNOLD stole the show! He played his character with such charm, it really made you love the guy. Accoring to me and my husband, it's a Thumbs Up for this one!!!
