Classic Story of Good v. Evil

We took our daughter to see this on Sunday. My husband was reluctant at first but decided to join us. We all LOVED it! It's a classic fantasy story of good v. evil. But, at the heart of it all, it's also about teamwork, love and family, and understanding the perspectives of others. There's a perfect blend of drama and comedy to make it worth watching for both children and adults. My daughter has been obsessed with the movie since we came home...might take her to see it again.

It was a good movie, not great. Kids were entertained and the plot was interesting enough. This movie might be a little intense for younger 4-7 year olds, so I'd caution there. One thing with voice acting that bothers me is when they cast people who are let's say casual in life and on screen it doesn't quite match the persona. There may have been a couple of misfires in the casting. Did not care for Beyonce as the queen at all.

I attended Epic with my wife and 10 year old daughter and her friend. We loved the message of positivity and storyline. The characters were hilarious. My daughter Kylie added that she felt they had a great since of humor and the choice of actors was perfect. I would recommend this to all families as a must see this month

When I watched the trailer for the movie I was a little worried that our 4 year old wouldn't be a captive audience, but I was pleasantly surprised!! He was really engaged. It was super funny, heartwarming, and only "a tiny bit scary". Our son keeps running around repeating "flat head"!!!! Good family flick, we enjoyed.
