This was light enough fare that my 5-year old enjoyed it, and didn't have anything too violent for either kid. The different faerie creatures were very well done. I liked the storyline, but personally, and I know this varies from person to person, I would have preferred to have seen a bit more loss/sacrifice from some major characters. Even with that quibble, really, this movie wasn't intended for my age. It's not Howl's Moving Castle or Spirited Away.
Yes, it was sufficiently fun that I had a good time watching it (better than the Guardians/Holiday one from December), but the kids had a better time, and I couldn't ask for more on a rainy holiday weekend. Anytime we leave the theatre with uneaten popcorn because they were too busy with the show is money well spent.

The movie was well crafted and entertaining for all members of the family. For anyone who enjoyed the Rise of the Guardians you will again be treated to the imaginative characters from the world of William Joyce. We have already seen it twice and I found even more details the second time around. I highly encourage you to catch this one at the theaters so that you can get the full rich detail of the world of the Leaf-men.

IT was an enjoyable movie. The children sat and watched in amazement.I love how they make the character's have mannerism's of the actor's voice that is portraying them.I wish we would have heard more of Beyonce singing. It was a feel good movie.

I went to the movie with my 10 and 7 year-olds and we all loved it. Plenty of humor and action, plus it was just gorgeous. I'm sure we'll see it again!
