Good kids movie, better if child is 7 or older, and best if seen in 3D. Beautiful animation, easy to follow for older children, liked the selections for the voices of the characters.

Epic 3D

I would recommend this movie for you and your whole family. The humor is young enough for first graders and grown up enough for adults. I saw this with my family who are between 6 and 50 years old. Everyone enjoyed it. If your child is a little sensitive, I would suggest the 2D version instead as it can be a bit intense for the little ones, but only briefly. Great fun! Go see it today. Don't wait for the DVD. You really want to see this one on the big screen!

Great for the entire family. We were fortunate to have the right sized 3D glasses to actually view the movie without the glasses falling off or digging into our noses. Story was great and the animation was beautiful

Cute, but predictable

Though it has a storyline that is a bit predictable (well, more than a bit), Epic is enjoyable enough. The 3D effects were quite good and the animation, in general, is beautiful. There is an aspect of the story that involves the recent passing of one main character's mother and the fact that the other main character is an orphan that would make sense if they bonded because of that fact. Since they don't, I'm left wondering why it was part of the story at all. The main character just as well could have been spending the summer with an eccentric uncle. Nonetheless, you'll laugh, you'll cry, and you will be well entertained.

The movie is good for kids of all ages. The graphics and 3D is good and the story line is simple and there is no violence. My 8 years old loved it.
