Took grandkids to see EPIC - 11yr old and 6 yr old. Youngest got bored but we all enjoyed the 3D effect this being our first experience! The Queen getting killed upset the youngest. My oldest was entertained but far from being excited. They both enjoyed the hummingbird horses but ended a little flat. Wouldn't want to sit through it again.

Thought this movie was great. Animation was evocative without being overdone, and dialogue was interesting and age appropriate. I enjoyed this movie as much as my kids (who were riveted) and i would highly recommend it to all.

3D Not that Great

Ive heard good reviews about the spectacular visuals of this movie but now I assume those references were not taken in 3D. If you want to see this movie just do it without 3D. My daughter (8) really enjoyed it. I laughed a couple of times and can't really complain about it.

I would recommend this movie for you and your whole family. The humor is young enough for first graders and grown up enough for adults. I saw this with my family who are between 6 and 50 years old. Everyone enjoyed it. If your child is a little sensitive, I would suggest the 2D version instead as it can be a bit intense for the little ones, but only briefly. Great fun! Go see it today. Don't wait for the DVD. You really want to see this one on the big screen!

Good kids movie, better if child is 7 or older, and best if seen in 3D. Beautiful animation, easy to follow for older children, liked the selections for the voices of the characters.
