Nature rebuilding theme too obscure for young audience

The characters were not built up enough for the audience to identify with them so at the end the film decayed like the forest leaves it showed quite beautifully. It looked like a story made up to enable a demonstration of film technology.

A visual joy to watch for all ages. The storyline is easy to follow and has great Family appeal. Even the infants in the audience where cheering the soft action sceens. The script dialogue captured the tension of the two coming oi age characters that join to gether to win the day. All the characters made for fun family entertainment.

Of course, being the chaperone means viewing all kinds of kids movies, and sometimes it can be entertaining as well. I didn't know at first that this movie was from the creators of Ice Age, but now that I know, it makes sense that it was well done.

Epic is a good movie that I liked but did not love. Don't waste your money to see it in 3-D, this seemed like another movie that had 3-D effects thrown in after it was made (The Last Air Bender). This is a movie that i would say wait until it's released on video.
