Took grandkids to see EPIC - 11yr old and 6 yr old. Youngest got bored but we all enjoyed the 3D effect this being our first experience! The Queen getting killed upset the youngest. My oldest was entertained but far from being excited. They both enjoyed the hummingbird horses but ended a little flat. Wouldn't want to sit through it again.

Thought this movie was great. Animation was evocative without being overdone, and dialogue was interesting and age appropriate. I enjoyed this movie as much as my kids (who were riveted) and i would highly recommend it to all.

Went with a 7 year old and a 12 year old. Both enjoyed the movie a lot. 12 year old says: The movie has a lot of interesting concepts that even adults would enjoy. 7 year old says: Good guys and bad guys always make movies interesting. Mini people with swords on birds was fun. Movie was great. Look forward to seeing it again.
We all loved Beyonce as the Queen in the beginning of the movie & it was exciting enough that we all stayed interested and engaged throughout. Good job.

Though it has a storyline that is a bit predictable (well, more than a bit), Epic is enjoyable enough. The 3D effects were quite good and the animation, in general, is beautiful. There is an aspect of the story that involves the recent passing of one main character's mother and the fact that the other main character is an orphan that would make sense if they bonded because of that fact. Since they don't, I'm left wondering why it was part of the story at all. The main character just as well could have been spending the summer with an eccentric uncle. Nonetheless, you'll laugh, you'll cry, and you will be well entertained.

Great for the entire family. We were fortunate to have the right sized 3D glasses to actually view the movie without the glasses falling off or digging into our noses. Story was great and the animation was beautiful
