The humanism portrayed in this movie about cops made me think this could be how real cops act and think. Same ole blah, blah, make cops look honest and act like super heroes. A movie to go see if you're in need of a pick me up.

It was a very good story about two beat cops who what to do the right thing. The climax was a bit fast, but overall it was a very good story.

I thought the movie was good, they were doing their job and run into something big and you'd think it wouldn't get any better but something else much bigger happens. It was a good movie.

Probably one of the most realistic cop movies one will ever see... the only downside is the directors penchant to use mobile cameras for reality sake however many of the viewers complained of dizziness and confusion. You can only take an art approach to a certain limit.
Overall the story is good and still worth the viewing.

What a movie! On one hand, how can so many people offer their lives up for so much cost to protect the rest of us from so much BS? The LAPD (as well as many other law enforcement agencies) need to be held to the highest honor for the jobs they do. The actors in this movie were excellent. I also thought the camera angles and perspective shots were fantastic. This was quite a cinematic experience and you need a strong stomach to handle the dark truth about America's inner city problems. Not a movie for kids who won't understand that gangster life is not the answer.
