Decent for the time they had.

The good: The actors did a great job. The graphics were awesome. The bad: They cut out all of the politics(Peter shows up in one scene, Valentine in... three?), and they didn't leave much of a hook for a sequel(And if they did, it would follow Ender's side, which isn't good movie material, thanks to them leaving out the politics). The ugly: Battle School was /terrible/. "There were no windows on Battle School." And what do we get? GIANT GLASS SPHERE IS THE BATTLE ROOM. They made the "Enemy's gate is down" line /worthless/ by having them say it before they were even told what the Battle Room is for(And only between Ender and Bean), and then called back to it at the end like it was meaningful. Oh, and you can see Earth through the glass anyways, so you have a convenient "down" orientation anyways... Overall, it was enjoyable, but I really would have preferred a movie for Battle School, and then a movie for Command School... Could have had time to add Locke and Demosthenes.

Found the movie to be very good. Entertaining throughout with a good story line and plenty of action. Exceptional acting on the part of the young actors. Good entertainment for all ages.

I have to admit, Ender's game surprised me. Admittedly I haven't read the book and didn't want to prior to seeing the movie - given the plot line, I'm glad that this was my path of choice. To be honest, I was expecting Harry Potter and Hunger Games in space. It wasn't. It was great science fiction. Well acted, well directed, well envisioned on a grand scale. Full of all the real life stress, fear, trouble, victory and moral dilemma that any good mature drama can dish out. The movie, like the main character, looks childish on the outside but is indeed all grown up once you engage in the conversation. I loved the film. My kids loved it. Must go! (We'll go again.)

Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. Trite and cliched at every turn. Ford looked like he phoned it in, and was not credible in the slightest as either a military officer or training camp manager. Preposterous plot and horrendous screeplay.
