A graphics delight! Well paced action. Realistic, believable, and illustrates what goes into making a leader. A bit of a surprise to boot. Well written & acted.

Great characters, story and images! Loved it! My 10 year old followed the story just fine, but it was a little fast and deep for my 9 year old. Reading the book beforehand may have been better for the 9 year old. We are reading in now!

One of the best movies I've seen!

I read the book 3 times and have been waiting for the movie to come out for years. I was skeptical that the movie would not be as good as the book. But the movie did not disappoint. It stayed true to the story line. Which is a great story line. Of course some unimportant details were left out because it's a movie and you can't fit everything from a book in a 2 hour movie. But it didn't matter because what was included in the movie was perfect. And the special effects were amazing. I really enjoyed this movie and so did my 13 year old son who also read the book. Ender's Game is an epic movie that should be seen by all especially avid science fiction fans. If you can, see it in IMAX :)

I have always liked Speaker for the Dead more than Ender's Game. I can't wait for that to come out soon. Enjoyed the movie, great job OSC.

Great Book, Good Movie, Bigoted Author

My husband, my two sons and I listened to Ender's Game while on a road trip a few years ago. We absolutely loved it. We couldn't wait to get back in the car and listen to the next section. It was almost as awesome as our South Dakota destination. It really added a lot to the trip and made the long drive from Denver painless. The movie is never going to be as good as the book. There are always things left out (it isn't a 12 hour movie!) and there has to be changes to make it more cinematic. With that said, I thought the movie was well done. We all four went to it (one son even came home from college for the weekend just for the event). I thought the visuals were awesome as was the acting. My husband stated that he didn't really like some of the casting choices but I don't agree. I would like to add that I strongly disagree with the book author's hateful personal political views, especially about same-sex marriage. I am very disappointed in Orson Scott Card, the man.
