Original buzz:
Surprisingly good!
I saw this as a rental this weekend and found myself enjoying it. It's actually a well-crafted story and shows Disney poking fun at itself and also showing how times have changed and even they (Disney) need to keep up with the times. Great performances and casting. Definitely worth watching!

Disney does it again!
What do you get when you mix Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty and put it all in New York? You get this: a good, Disney like movie that was original. What I liked about this movie was that Disney's plot to send Gizelle to New York was not only original, but a great twist on classic Disney animated movies. No one would even dare to put an animated princess into a real world city, but Disney decided to go bold and do it. My official revlew: DISNEY DOES IT AGAIN!!

the new disney
amy adams is so perfect for this role that its a little alarming. it truly seems like she was an animated disney character brought to life. this movie is adorable- and having both patrick dempsey and james marsden in the flick is a definite plus.

A New Disney Princess
When an animated fairy tale princess (Amy Adams) winds up in a live-action reality, the result is destined to be entertaining. And "Enchanted" is just that. Screenwriter Bill Kelly, director Kevin Lima, and a talented comedic cast deliver this delightful tale with enthusiasm and a healthy spoonful of Disney magic. Amy Adams is the perfect princess - real or animated - she has the mannerisms, the voice, the ideals, the woodland friends, the dress; it is impossible not to fall in love with her. "Enchanted" is sometimes corny (the lyrics will make you laugh out loud), but always in good spirit; it will satisfy your craving for a good old-fashioned fairy tale (which you are bound to have once you sit down to the introduction).
