China Zorilla is a great actress, and it is always worth watching her. She would steal every scene. The woman is in her mid-eighties and still going strong. She is the Jessica Tandy of Argentinean cinema, which has produced some unique gems in the last decade or so. If you look past the old woman, you'll find an ageless sprite.

Gives hope to growing old

I LOVED THIS MOVIE! I have taken my parents and sister and they loved it too. We laughed and cried. At first I was turned off by the synopsis because the thought of an elderly couple falling in love just didn't do it for me. But such talent! These two love like an adolescence for the first time falling in love and they give a new meaning to "opposites attract." The tenderness and vulnerability is so touching. It teaches you that just because you are alive does not mean you're living. To LOVE is to LIVE. Please watch it! Its a must see!

I haven't seen it but the synopsis sounds really sucky!!! A love affair between two elderly people? I do NOT think anyone would want to see this movie. EVER.
