Of Italian-Spanish heritage, Eleanora Rossi-Drago worked as a salesgirl before entering films in 1949. In the early stages of her movie career, she was typecast in sexy, bodice-ripping roles in such films as Pirates of Capri (1949) and Sensualita (1952). By the time she left films in the 1970s, she had matriculated into a capable character actress.
