Finally a great comedy that does not rely on vulgarity! I laughed out loud, I cried, I felt really, really close to the characters. This is my hit for the summer. Go see this movie, you can take the kids!

The writing talents of Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg are undeniable and The World's End is no exception. Brilliant, funny, and some of the coolest action sequences from any movie this summer. Even though the three films don't connect in story or characters there is an unmistakable connection in tone and style that comes from the writing of Wright and Pegg and the direction of Wright himself. Wright has always had a fantastic way of weaving dual meanings throughout the film, whether it be what the film is truly about to lines of dialog and The World's End is another film that demonstrates that genius. Definitely a must go at least once if not a second time!

The fans were out in full force for the Cornetto Trilogy at AMC Downtown Disney! Lots of laughs were let out (interestingly, only some of them occurred to me). Definitely not for kids or under 17; way too many f-bombs dropped. Great writing, hilarious delivery, spot-on acting. Lots of fun but made work on Friday interesting. I actually think the third might have been the funniest of the three.

Great classics, new film not on the same level.

The classics of the trilogy, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were great, but the new one, The World's End was a little below the par. They tried to cram a little too much moral into their story, had some bothersome speeches, and the main story arc was a little pointless. But, for the money, the trilogy is worth it.

I loved this film. The writing, cinematography, acting, and everything, frankly, were astoundingly good. It was really cool to see Nick Frost in the role of the most responsible character, and the ending was quite a surprise.
