Seen as a whole, the brilliance of the trilogy is readily apparent. We had a great time and The World's End is a really good movie.

I loved seeing Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz right before seeing the new World's End! It was a great experience and a great new movie.

I hadn't seen Shaun of the Dead, or Hot Fuzz and booked the Cornetto trilogy online when Simon Pegg Plugged the special showing. I absolutely loved the first two and the Word's End was hands down 5 stars. Its a smart, funny, well shot film...talent across the board and a nice reunion for actors/actresses in the previous film. This film will keep you on the edge of your seat and the ending will at the very least make chuckle and on the high make you scream out loud with laughter (I did). No spoilers...:D See it you enjoy any science fiction films...hands down the best film I've seen this year.

While this event has passed, these movies are timeless. I have watched "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" countless times, and I'm happy to say that "The World's End" is a fitting conclusion to the trilogy. The movie moves at a slow pace in the beginning, establishing Gary King and the group, but picks up steam incredibly quickly. The foreshadowing of upcoming events is excellently peppered throughout the film (I won't give away or when, but pay attention through the film), and the ending definitely threw me for a loop. I can't recommend this movie enough. Do yourself a favor and cap off the summer season of films with this. You'll be glad you did.
