I loved this movie. I thought rubert grint did a fantastic job of freeing himself from the harry potter sterio type. Julie Walters was also great as Evie. The very excentric character brought great life to the movie. The whole message of life is to short, so why waste it on mindless, control freak of a parent? ben is trying to free himslef from his overbearing mother, when he meets Evie, a life loving actress who hasnt done anywork in the last few years. i thought the story was really great, and the relationship with Evie and BEn was so fun to watch, though hard to explain. and at the very end, what he says to sarah at the end, o...i laughed so hard! : ) i would really recomend this movie, some people say its slow at times, i thought te pace was great for the story, and their were some really great lines and sarcastic coments from both characters.
go. rent. watch. : )

If you already like these actors, the subject matter will come forth in a sweet way regardless of it's unpopular themes, those being religion and poetry. We don't like such things anymore...right? Give it a try anyway and take to heart the situation that the film presents and you may walk away, as I did, very satisfied. This is an excellent file, and Julie Walters was perfect. She deserves at least a globe. 4 an1/2 stars.
