Harry Carey stars as a likable hobo who gets tired of riding the rails and sets up residence in a dusty Western town. Wandering into the local gambling parlor, Carey breaks the bank and becomes a millionaire -- only to be accused of murdering the faithless wife of the establishment's proprietor. He escapes but returns to prevent the actual perpetrator of the crime from victimizing the heroine, who is about to be swindled out of her ranch. Our hero does what he set out to do and wins the girl in the bargain. Drifting Thru was directed by Scott R. Dunlap, a near-legendary figure in the specialized world of the "B"-western. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
