  Filmaking 101

  This movie is a perfect example of what NOT to do in a movie. I imagine , in a few years, that this movie will make it's daily appearance on comedy channels everywhere. It's that bad. You'll have more fun buying toilet paper.

  Avoid at all costs

  Reminiscent of the old Godzilla movies in quality of filming, script, and acting, we kept in the theater HOPING the ending fight scenes, etc. might make up for the endless pain - but, they didn't. I think there's a reason they didn't allow rating this the first day/two it was out - they didn't want the fans to warn each other away!!! Forget "B" movie - this one rated an "F".

  Don't Blame it on the Dragons

  Most people are thinking the traditional western dragon when they go to see this movie, but it's the eastern dragons that make their appearance. There's no need to blame it on the type of dragon seen, though... the movie just didn't live up to its potential. Jason Behr needs to go back to acting school. Looking pretty might get you on camera, but it takes skill to make it believable. Amanda Brooks was your typical "Mary Sue". There were a few funny parts, but as a whole, a definite waste of my time and money.

  TERRIBLE

  This was about the worst movie I have seen in I don't know how long. Don't waste your money. BAD acting. The effects looked years old. The story was seriously weak.

  Not as bad as I expected...

  This probably should really be titled "Giant Snake Wars" since the dragon doesn't appear much, but it still had its moments. Of course the plot was lame, but who goes to this kind of movie for deep plots? It had some spectacular creature action and fantastic battle scenes. The effects were better, in fact, than some of the so-called "blockbuster" movies I've seen recently. Some of the scenes are a bit too violent for younger kids, but I'd say 10 and up will enjoy it. Don't go expecting anything and you will be pleasantly surprised, as I was.

  Yawwwwwnnnn!!!

  OK, so I took my boys to see this movie. I thought it was slow, and lame. I caught myself falling asleep 3 times! The special effects were good. But as far as the story and the action... I could have passed. When I asked my sons what they thought ( and my 5 yr old LOVES dragons and dinosaurs) They said it was ok, but kinda boring sometimes.
  As far as the title... being DRAGON WARS.. nahhhh. Not quite.

  This is for your sanity....

  If you are on medication or do not want to start taking medication then I am telling you this to benefit you....DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!! The actor, Jason Behr, was the only reason I stayed since I loved him from his Roswell days. Otherwise, waste your money on beer, a shirt, or anything that can be the price of admission. Just DONT SEE IT!, trust me I never once wrote a review about a movie, but I had to do this for the sake of humankind. And we want movies to actually stay in theaters and also have a great storyline and actors then don't put your money towards this because then the directors/writers will get it in their heads that they thought this was a good movie since people paid for it. Invest in something else, and if you are wondering why I came about to see this movie....there's only one person to blame....my fiance. And believe me he knows how much I want my 90 minutes of my life back. Thank you for reading and I hope this helps. :)

  OMG!!!

  This movie is SOOOOOO REATRDED DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT go see this movie. Go see a better one like Mr. Woodcock. I saw this movie, what a waste of my money. I dont know how it even made it into the movie theatre....

  Awful

  This film was so desperately bad we left before the end, decided we had wasted enough of our lives already. Dreadfull script, direction, acting & editing. Pretty good special effects, but not nearly good enough to make up for the very low standard in every single other aspect of the film.

  My first review

  I just have to say this is my first review because this movie touched me so. It touched me so much that I am seriously considering tracking down the script writer and director and asking for my money back. I thought Eragon was the worst movie of all time up untill today. Poor script writing, poor acting, poor editing, etc. The list goes on! Whatever you do, "DO NO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!"

  okay first of all? what the hell happened during this movie? it looked like a crappy remake of star wars episode 1 with atll the turtle things with cannons on their backs, and a bunch of power ranger guys, this is the worst movie of all time. The whole movie is about how some reporter is somehow the ancient descendent of some stupid asian warrior. And he has to help the good "immoogi" or something stupid like that get to heaven and become a dragon. What the hell? the only good part is how many times the cool black guy dies and pops right back up. And the other funny part was when the police chief first said that he din't know what the hell was going on, but then in the next scene new all about the ledgend thing and all the crackpot terminology. Please dont see this. It was a waste of money.

  It's a Monster Film !!!! NOT SHAKESPEAR

  This is perhaps the best monster movie in a very long time, and if you like dragons like I do, you are going to love it. Sure it lacks good acting and dialog but again I went to see dragons destroying the city, not Hamlet questioning life!!!.
  Great action sequences and even better special effects!!!! Any ways 100 times better than the american version of Godzilla.
