With a final burst of strength, Tien tries to destroy the rampaging Nappa. With the outcome of the battle leaning in favor of the Saiyans, Vegeta calls a three-hour "time out". This provides Goku the opportunity to arrive on earth in time for the "moment of truth." While awaiting his confrontation with Goku, Nappa whimsically destroys several Earthly battle vehicles.
