    The Lorax

I took my 9 yr old and 15 year old. This movie is definitely for all ages! It was well scripted. The animals were so cute, especially the bears! I highly recommend this movie for all ages.

The Lorax Falls a bit too Short

First, I have to say that the animation was beautiful! I couldn't imagine better looking Truffula Trees, Humming-Fish, Brown Bar-ba-loots, and Swomee-Swans. The Truffula forest and all of it's creatures were perfect!

The story strayed too far from the book for me. The songs were not good and the mysterious "Oncler" was a human?? I didn't get it??

    The Lorax

I thought it was an extremely good movie and a good way to remind us as well as teach children to think of the result of our actions. As a whole, I feel we, as a generation, take things for granted thinking our actions have no effect on what is really valuable in our lives. The pleasures of nature and how much it enriches our lives and generations to come.

    The Lorax

Loved the movie!! It is amazing on parts of the movie my 5 year old granddaughter really thought about. We had a pleasant chat about the movie and what it meant to her on the drive home. Not too sure what the Republicns have a beef about this movie.....We all should speak for the trees.

    The Lorax

It was a good movie, followed the book pretty close but of course there were a few modifications to the plot. Overall a good movie to take the kids out to see!

    Great

me and my 2 friends went and saw this. We were all happy we did it taught you many things like how to apperciate what we have around us and not forget those who were there for us when others weren't. It had us laughing the whole way. Pipsqueak was our favorite:) cutest bear EVER.

    The Lorax

    by heydtd

Went to see Dr. Seuss', The Lorax last evening with 4 of my children ranging in ages from 17 & 7 yr old twins. We ALL enjoyed the movie. It was extremely funny. Danny DeVito is the best. He had us laughing even after the movie was over. It also helped us realize how important natural trees are to our existence. Without them, we would die.

    What a fun movie!!!

This was an awesome movie for both children and adults. Music was terrific. Can't say anything bad, unless it was the kid in front of us who couldn't stop talking!

Lorax was a beautifully told story about saving our planet. It was child friendly and exciting. My grands and I loved the movie. Thanks for the message.

    Dr Seuss Delivers...in a Movie

We have to read The Lorax about 5 times a week in our house so my 6 year old knows the story (and so do my husband and I) really well. This movie was spot on - it kept my son's attention the entire way through and then he talked about it until he fell asleep. What a wonderful job they did and keep the lesson about protecting the environment simple as well - such a great movie for the whole family.

    The Lorax

    by

Fun for the whole family! I like the underlying message; it is important that we care about our kids and their future children enough to take care and caution with our home - Earth! I even was a little teary-eyed at the end of the movie.

    The Lorax

I liked the film for my 8 yr old son. It had a good, if not predictable, message & plotline, but then, if you're seeing a movie based on a well known book, you generally know where it's going. The animation was very good, just like Despicable Me. It is a very good, warm & fuzzy movie for families with 5-12 year old children. Enjoy!

More Universal Studios Than Dr. Seuss But Family Friendly.

Dr. Seuss's estate entrusted its precious children's brand to Universal Studios many years ago. Since then Universal has fully exploited the opportunity it presented, even including a Seuss themed land in one of their amusement parks, mostly in hopes of cashing in on product tie-ins galore through the years. Tie-ins prompted by Seuss movies of course. The bean counters may need to re-think that strategy should the production side of the house continue making Seuss films like this one. Oh, it's a good flick overall. One that kids and adults can enjoy, provided of course the adults are OK with Seuss being politicized in order to acculturate their kids as advocates for Hollywood's causes du jour. Not that being an environmentalist is a bad thing but once you open the propaganda box, what comes next? Do you really want to pay to have your kids programmed by a corporation in kid-speak, in cartoons? Anyway, see it but you might want to talk about more than conservation afterward.
