    LOVED IT!

The movie was super adorable. I laughed throughout along with my 16,9,8 and 5 yr. old. As a bonus they hande out Horton ears to all who purchased tickets. I recommend you take a vacation from reality and go visit Dr. Suess' Horton.

Great Family Fun for all ages!

    by mnames

My 2 kids (6 and 4 1/2) and my parents went to see it and we all enjoyed it. Jim Carrey was great as Horton! Not over the top but just enough of his sense of humor! I would definitely recommend this movie for all ages.

I am a big fan of jim carrey and steve carell and they were both fantastic! it was so cute seeing jim carrey's voice coming out of an elephant... the elephant even made the same expressions jim carrey usually makes lol. it was so good, very nice message to the kids too! Horton Rules

I went early this moring to see Horton @ the new Regal 16 Cinema in Hendersonville, TN.Since they are in their Grand Opening (this weekend) the first 100 Ticket sales for Horton hears a Who got a free T-shirt. All I can say about this movie is that every Character and voice was a good match. Jim Carrey has done it again for bringing Kids back to the Dr Seuss. oh and to the Narrator Charles Osgood of CBS Sunday Morning does a fantastic job! Worth going to see as an adult or an adult with kids!

    Fun 4 Whole Family

I went with my family and we all loved it. Greats for small children. It also has some great morals that even some adults could still learn to use.

    Great

    by mmm1276

I thought this was a great kids movie. We read the book all the time and it was pretty much word for word from the book! The kids loved it and it was for all ages. No scary parts!

great for kids of all ages

I LOVED this movie! It was really cute and pretty much followed the book. It kept my attention all the way through to the end (no slow/boring parts). My childish side loved it and my adult side was pretty well amused too!

    Great for all ages!

I took my teenage "punk rock" daughter to this movie, not really expecting her to enjoy it nearly as much as she actually did, it being on the "tame" side! We laughed outright several times, more than giggling. I would definitely see it again. Jim Carrey as Horton was a little subdued, which was a nice change, not the usual over acting. Steve Carrell was perfect as the Mayor! He puts a lot of acting into his voice. It might be a bit long for little ones, but kids 5 or older would probably love it. There were elderly folks sans kiddos who were enjoying it as well!

    Horton Hears A Who

    by Lmbm7

I thought this movie was pretty true to the original movie & book, although the graphics and music were SOOO much better. I was worried, this being a Jim Carrey remake....and the reviews I had read were all over the place as far as suitability for young viewers. But I (and the pile of 8-year-olds I took to see it) thought the movie was very funny. A few inappropriate gestures and crass words were very brief and didn't seem to take away from the movie. If you mind someone calling someone else a "boob", you will be offended.

As in the original animated movie, some parts of the movie were very disturbing (especially to younger children in the theater). I am referring to the "boil that dust speck" scene...for those familiar with the plot. Everyone gangs up on Horton and is very cruel. In another scene, an evil vulture is hired to end Horton's mission to save the dust speck world. The vulture seemed very scary to the little kids present. The overall themes are very positive.

    Horton Hears a Who

We really enjoyed this movie. I went with my 16, 18, and 22 year old children and we all had a great time. The story of Horton is a classic and has a valuable lesson taught to not only children but adults as well. The Characters and animation was great and even the youngest children in the theater remained interested. It wasa hit with us and i think Everyone should see it. What an enjoyable family movie.

    Just loved it! Very cute!

My husband and I took our 4 year old son to see the movie. It was family a day that we planned for two weeks around the opening of this movie. And boy was it worth it! The movie was just adorable! Since it was spring break week, the theater was filled with kids and everyone loved it! Our son was up laughing and enjoying the trip that Horton took all of us through. The voices are perfect for the characters and the animation was just unbelievable! I felt like I could have reached out and touched Horton! They all seemed so life like. Jim Carrey was great as Horton and Steve Carell was great as the Mayor of Whoville. And with my husband and I both being in our 30's, we remember the original version of Horton Hears A Who. But nothing will ever compare to this version. It's well worth the trip to the movies. Make it a family day! The kids and the kids in all of us, will just love this movie! I can't wait for it to come out on DVD to give to my son.
