    This presentation by Dr. Laura was interesting, inspiring, and moved right along. She covered the topic of motherhood very well with change of character, change of costumes, reading portions of e-mails, and excellent variety of topics that involve being a Mom.

    I was disappointed there wasn't some way she could have added a point of interest through door prizes, lucky seats, and whatever good film people think of to keep the audience guessing. I enjoyed very much the good pictures of the audience where the LIVE presentation was filmed. I noticed so many of the viewers there were young women in their 20's and 30's. It was just hilarious to watch one man's facial expression. It was obvious he was enjoying and listening to every word. I was quite touched with a few personal happenings and e-mails Dr. Laura read portions of. I observed one man who was wearing a black cap as I recall wiping tears as were several women also. I'm so glad you showed "In Praise of Moms." Lucille

    The Dr. Laura live show was awesome. I absolutely loved the live show. I think the turnout would have been a lot better had you not chosen Cinco de Mayo. I bought a ticket as a Mother's Day present to myself. I was absolutely delighted that the show exceeded my expectations. I laughed and I cried. There was a teenage boy (maybe 18) who was with his Mom. As we were leaving I told him I thought it was super cool that he came with his Mom. His Mom told me that it was totally her son's idea. I have to admit, I was a bit jealous. When Dr. Laura cried as she listened to her son's voice...everyone in the audience was crying. It was a sweet moment shared by Mother's. When Dr. Laura told us to go to a happy moment, I struggled for a quick minute. Then the perfect moment entered my mind, and I totally sobbed in the movie theatre. It was when my 26 year old son called me on Valentine's Day to say that he loved me and wanted to make sure that he called his very 1st Valentine...ME!!!
