It was Just an OK Movie: some little excitement during first hour!

I just watched it yesterday. the movie was exciting in the beginning but then it changed it to a different style and gore.
Better wait for it on the video rent rather than wasting ur money on ticket!

Had potential but it was all over the place...

Here's an action movie that had some potential except the director and producers couldn't figure out what kind of a movie they wanted to make. The whole virus outbreak thing has nothing to do with the movie!

I wonder what the early meetings were like... "Hmm...should we make a virus/zombie movie? No no no, let's make a female MADMAX movie...circa Thunderdome....ok, fine...but can we set it in medieval times? Yeah, that sounds like an awesome idea! Go team!"

The shame is that I liked the Rhona Mitra character and could have saw them create some sort of franchise around it...but now it's all ruined due to the fact that the story was all over the place. I mean, why stop with 3 genres? Why not add Voltron to add a sci-fi robot element to the movie?

Also, the action sequences were so-so making this a maybe rental or wait for the TNT weekend broadcast.

It was OK. I thought it was sort of a spin off of I am Legend. Same concept, differnt setting. Overall better than I thought. I would uy it when it comes out.

I would give this movie a GO rating as I enjoy the mad max genre of movies. It is a bit graphic at times so I would not say it is for the faint of heart. All in all the movie had pretty good acting and great action. If you like the old school post-apocalyptic mad max/escape from NY style of movies this is right up your alley.

Worst Movie Ever!!!!!

This movie had to be the dumbest movie I have ever seen in my life. There is no way in the world that there can be a movie that can get any dumber. I couldn't figure out which part was worse, the part with the rockers that ate people or the midevil times people. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Dont even sneak in to see it! It was so horrible i had to laugh at how dumb it was. I could tell everyone else in the theatre that saw the movie felt the same cause you could here people say it throughout the movie.

Great storyline, but missing information

The storyline was great. I wouldn't change a thing about it. However, I just wish that they answered some more of my questions. The movie sort of leaves you hanging, which most likely means a sequel will be coming. See this movie! Overall, a B-

Fan-freakin-tastic!

This is, by far, the best apocalyptic-cannibalistic-punk-medieval movie about Scotland that I have ever seen! It had everything that one could want from an apocalyptic-cannibalistic-punk-medieval movie about Scotland. First you have the virus that causes Britain to wall off all of Scotland. Fantastic idea! The survivors seem to go one of two routes, either mohawked nihilistic cannibal punks (a la Mad Max), or castle inhabiting murderous order freaks (kinda like...well...I have no idea). What happens when these two groups come together? It's like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup of carnage and mayhem.
If you are a fan of post-apocalyptic movies this one delivers plenty. I would venture to say that it is, in fact, the best example from the genre.
