Don Jon was an unique cinematic treat. Joseph Gordon Levitt directs this gem with excellent execution and skill. He was also hilarious, and out of the box yet still incredibly relatable. Any time he is on screen with any of the supporting characters you just cannot look away. The scenes with Scarlett Johanson are magical though, the accents alone keep you entranced in the hilarity and contrast from their normal on screen personalities. Julianne Moore is pitch perfect as well as the dark horse main character. All in all a great albeit highly erotic movie.

I NEVER walk out of a movie. After 20 minutes, I couldn't watch this movie another minute. It was disgusting to say the least!! Nothing but watching porn and fat behinds and breasts shaking. Should be rated X at the minimum. A real time-waster. We left and went to see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs".

This movie was very entertaining. I am surpirsed it did not get a NR17 rating with all of the pron scenes they showed. Everyone was excellent even Tony Danza was hysterical. I would recommened this movie.

If there’s a deeper message here, it’s that people use porn as a salve or a way to “escape,” or as Don Jon himself puts it, “to lose myself.” But porn isn’t the only escape of choice: His girlfriend, played by Scarlett Johansson, uses “chick flicks,” unrealistic portrayals of love and romance. Julianne Moore uses sex itself as an escape from a very deep and very recent emotional wound. Jon’s father uses football, his mother uses hope for grandchildren, and his sister uses constant phone texting. Everybody uses something, and who’s to say whose medicine is less acceptable than others?
Three out of five, and a fine first directorial effort. Four out

I enjoyed the insight of the relationship tutorial which Gordon-Levitt not only directed and acted but made me believe there is more to a relationship than sex. I enjoyed this movie and would recommend it to any child 17 or older. How we as a people are easily influenced when looking for what we believe is love and find it when we look at opening ourselves to the world. A dangerous task as Gordon-Levitt's character almost experienced with his Johansen Love interest. Go see this entertaining debut of the world Gordon-Levitt knows to exist in our life.
