I loved this movie. Quentin makes the best movies ever. This one is definitely no exception I couldn't wait to run out and see it. With an all star cast of Foxx, DiCaprio, Washington, Waltz (playing a good German this time...lol), and none other than one of Quentin favorites Mr. Samuel L. Jackson himself, this movie just spoke GO SEE ME!! From beginning to end the action was on. Dr Schultz (Waltz), a bounty hunter out to make a "killing" gets his man dead or alive. With the help of his companion Django (Foxx) a slave he saves to help him catch his man. The two develop a great friendship and a partnership and they set out on there quest of bounty hunting. All the while Django is thinking about his enslaved love Broomhilda (Washington) and waiting for the chance he gets to save her and make them both free slaves.

My family (parents, grand parents, siblings and children - 14+) went to see this on Christmas Day and we loved it! This is by far my favorite Quentin Tarantino movie. Excellent story, casting, and cinematography. Since it is Quentin, I wouldn't recomend that the squeamish see this, but everyone else BUY YOUR TICKETS NOW! I would pay full price to see this one again!

Saw the movie opening night and it did not disappoint. Great movie! Loved all the characters in the movie especially Django, Dr. Schultz, and Stephen (Samuel L. Jackson). The only thing I was a little let down about was that during the big all guns out shoot'em up scene close to the end of the movie I began expecting the "Kill Bill 1" over-the-top ninja fight type scene but instead Django's gun scene was cut short of that(but it was still a great guns'a blazing scene though).

Django was FANTASTIC. Action packed, hilarious, and grueling all at the same time while touching on a past that many have probably tried to forget. All of the actors and actresses did a fabulous job in their roles. I highly recommend this movie! It's not for children though.

At first I thought I wasn't enjoying Django Unchained because it wasn't really what I had expected, but then I realized I hadn't stopped smiling since the movie began.
