Bartender and aspiring actress Diana Diaz (Elsa Pataky) leaves Spain and her best friend Maria to seek her fortune in Miami, only to get discouraged when her money runs out, and frequent casting calls lead to nowhere. Later arriving in Hollywood with the help of some newfound friends, Diana discovers that the price of fame is higher than she though after transforming herself into "DiDi" in one final shot at superstardom.
