This was a great movie. My kids and I really enjoyed the first one, but this was even better, could not stop laughing. Thanks for another great movie.

My son loved this movie, he was actually singing through the scene when the band: Loaded Diaper was playing on stage. We only wished it had more parts of the book. We also love all the books, we read them over and over all the time.

Laughed harder than my son!

So, I took my 10 year old to see this. He has read all of the books and we saw the first movie when it came out. I didn't have high hopes for this one because I didn't get how it was about the older brother. Well, I have to admit I was very pleasantly surprised. This movie is hilarious!! I laughed way more than my son did! I'm a high school counselor and middle school kids are definitely not my forte. This movie, and the one before it, provide some very real examples of middle schoolers and reminded me of what it was like when I was in school. Great movie! Go see it!

A little slow moving

Rodrick Rules was a pretty good movie and stayed somewhat true to the book but is kind of slow moving throughout. The first scenes at the roller rink were the funniest part of the movie. After that it's continuous Roderick torturing poor Greg. If Rowley is a fave character, forget seeing him a lot as in the first movie. Manny has more screen time. This is heavy on the Rodrick. Also the cool girl from the last movie isn't seen or mentioned. Instead there's a new character who is the typical new teen girl. All fluff blond hair, makeup, and totally out of Greg's league. She looks like she's 20 years old compared to Greg's 13 year old look. All and all it wasn't too bad, but as always the books are better.
