The producer's decision to use simulated amateur video technique all the way through this movie spoils the experience for me. My eyes are getting tired of following the shaky camera positioning. I didn't particularly like its use in Blair Witch Project or Paranormal Activity either. In my opinion the film would be more effective if the shaking were not so overdone. I can hold a camera better than that making my own home movies. Better yet, why not use the amateur video method sparingly throughout the film instead of constantly. This could provide an artistic accent that would better explain the story.

I am not fond of movies that are filmed from a video perspective. If the pregnant woman didnt yell at people I would have fallen asleep. Her yelling kept me up. Not worth the outrageous price at theater. Save your money, watch from home for free and change channel's.

3 of us left the movies 15 minutes in. Not sure what the deal is in Hollywood with all the hand held cameras. We had a fun evening planned and $50 bucks later, you win this one Hollywood. I'll save our $$ next time. By the reviews... guess I should have read sooner rather than later. Live and learn!!

It wasn't as bad as I had anticipated it to be. Didn't really like how it ended but as I said it was a "so-so" movie.

Horrible. I was ashamed to keep looking at it. Fake paranormal wanna be. Previews did not explain that it would be shot like a paranormal. Thought it would be a real exorcist type movie and it wasn't. The suspense came because you didn't know how loud the next fake scare was gonna be. Sad. Very sad had so much potential.
