    The moral of the story

I have to admit that I wasn't sure what to expect. M. Knight has made some very good movies and some very bad movies. Scary or suspenseful movies are my favorite so I knew I would see this no matter what. I was very pleasantly surprised!! Yes, it was supsenseful. Not as scary as I would like but what was most gratifying was the underlying story which made the film more than a scary movie. It made it interesting and I wanted to know more about the characters so it kept my interest. Much like Signs, this movie grabs your attention, keeps you guessing, makes you think and ends leaving a moralistic message for you to ponder on your drive home. Granted this movie was not difficult to figure out but the acting was very good and the suspense was adequate. IIf you don't look for anything more than that and you make sure you get some good popcorn or Milk Duds you will enjoy this movie and be glad you saw it. Good movie for adults. Teens might be bored and it is not for children.

"Oh, and I wanted you so bad" to be a horrible movie but came out surprised

    by MovieRN

Went to see Devil at a midnight showing because I got off work early and needed a good laugh! To my surprise it was creepy and kept my interest. No weird off the wall surprise just a good ole fashion horror movie that reminded me of an episode of the twilight zone. I went home and got on the elevator at my apartment and had a weird feeling. Haven't had a movie do that to me in awhile. I went in expecting the worst and came out surprised. Let see what the rest of you thought! I could not guess whom the devil was, let see if any of you can!!!

Must See but Plot for Mature Crowd

I wasn't sure I wanted to see this because you never know what you're getting from M. Night but it's been an hour since I left the theater and I'm still thinking about it. I can't remember the last time I've been to a movie where people actually clapped at the end. This movie is pretty deep and will leave you thinking about life and your choices. Because of the maturity of the message, I would say it's for adults only. I wouldn't take any kids under the age of 16. If you are looking for a lot of killing and action this movie isn't for you, although it has both. It's more suspenseful with some killing and action. I usually only write reviews for really good or really bad movies. This one is really good; A MUST SEE MOVIE!!! After the movie, I gave my wife a curfew of how late she can be out with my daughter driving without me in the car. You'll see why after the movie :)
