Great movie for the whole family!

Just returned from watching this and my kids who also saw Toy Story 3...LOVED IT! They prefered this movie over Toy Story 3 (which they saw last weekend). My daughter who is 8, loved it, she was bored watching TS3 but was competely entertained. My son who is 4 who is entertained by both but laughed much more watching Despicable Me. The Minions are hilarious, everytime they came on the screen my 14 month old started to laugh. My wife thought that the 3 little girls were cute and sweet and the story/plot was great. If you have kids it's a MUST SEE. If you don't have kids its a MUST SEE!

    I liked it!

It was a little rushed into and unexplained, but it was hilarious and very very cute!
It has many lines that you will be giggling about later with your friends...
    "IT'S SO FLUFFY!"

"No no no, not FART gun, DART gun!!"
"Oh! That makes more sense, because I was wondering... under what curcumstances would we use a fart gun..."

It's really funny! I highly reccomend you see it!

This was such a cute and funny movie. I teared up at some parts and was laughing my head off at others. A must see for everyone.

Totally funny but very intense for small children

I was worried when I took my 6 year old granddaughter to see this film as it was rated PG and the beginning of it still had me worried when the girls home for children talked about the "box of shame.". But, after about the 1st 20 minutes, I knew she would see this movie for the story line that was intended. By the end of the movie, she truly understood that the "mean" Gru really loved the orphan girls, and she was really excited about that. Great move, but some discussion needs to to take place for young children to understand the true intent.

This is one of the summer's best movie's. Everyone who went loved it. My 2 year old daughter didn't move an inch while watching the movie. It was amazing!!! If you have children you have to go.

    Cute!

This movie was really cute. Im 20 years old and i thought it was adorable. I went with my Boyfriend who was laughing constantly throughout the movie. If your bored and want to go see a movie to make you laugh, I'd go and see this. It also had a good story line.

    A Movie For Everyone

This animated movie, although it was meant for kids, was also enjoyable as an adult. It keeps it funny without the use of crude or rude humor. Gru and his Minions are the most memorable characters out of any movie.

    Fun movie

Okay...so it is predictable. So it is the normal 'snotty old grumpy man warms up to kids and can't live without them' kind of movie. Did that make me enjoy it any less? Nope. Fun movie. Kept the kids laughing and the grown ups atleast giggling, if not more. If you are expecting something deep and overly touching, its not that but if you are looking for something that's mostly light hearted and has a happy ending, this is your movie :) Kids and adults alike with love the minions though! hehe.

It was a very cute and funny movie. It kept the whole family entertained, the kids and the adults! We all liked it a lot. Easy to follow storyline that was very heart-warming. Quite a bit of action to keep attention,

    'Despicable Me' Movie review

Pixar may have tugged at our heartstrings with their complex Toys Story 3, but Despicable Me definitely does does a number on your funny bone! With its cleverly written script and characters, and while none of the humor may be new or sophisticatedly done, it just does not fail to entertain, and lets face it- thats what movies are truly all about! The Minions were simply a stroke of genius, right from the opening credits, to the Snow White 'Dopey' throwback in the ending, and finishing with their 'who gets the closest to the audience' during the end credits- well, I don't really know who got the closest there, but they definitely did get real close to our fondness of them! Evil Victor's 'non-nerdish' name and his Wii sequence, and a special mention to the Bank of Evil's 'former' name- Priceless! All in all, despite not having any complex story or background, Despicable Me is one fun, entertaining ride filled with laughter, and highly entertaining, and is a movie to go to...

    Better than i thought

I went into this movie not excepting it to be funny or that entertaining. As the movie progresses it just gets more and more funny. Steve Carrel did a fantastic voice of the main villain. It not only will make you laugh, but it has a great message in it too. The 3D is it is one the best i've seen.

P.S. Stay for the credits, you'll enjoy it
