Two Kids and a Bucket of Popcorn

If you have kids, popcorn, and a couple of hours to cram into relaxation, you don't need your Nikes on to "just do it!" With a successful movie coming out with a sequel, you can wager it to be a let-down. Don't let that fool you into waiting for the DVD on this one. The full-screen effect is necessary to get the complete effects of this shark-wielding romantic-ish comedy. Of course, one of the minions shares the name of my ex, which makes it even funnier! Bee-Doo, Bee-Doo, Bee-Doo doesn't sound the same reading it as it does squeaking out from between those yellow lips (as if they have lips). Just go see it and tell them MJ sent you! You'll be glad you did... I promise. The perfect family or date movie because everyone should enjoy a hearty laugh every now and then.

Thought it was very well done and carried over from the first one very well. My 4 year old was very entertained and sat throughout the movie (only her 2nd movie in a theatre).

The movie was very good and my two nieces ages 3 and 13 loved the movie along with the adults. Movie was just great and appropriate for all family members.

A good time for all (especially Minion lovers)

I thought this installment of the Despicable Me franchise was good enough as a stand alone. Especially since I really did not have much recollection for the first one since they are spaced so far apart. I loved the focus on the Minions, a good 75% of the movie, and the love affair between the main characters. It was my 3 3/4 year old daughter's first feature film and she gave it two thumbs up.

Very funny, but some scary moments

We saw this movie yesterday and laughed so hard, but--and I quote--"I never want to see this movie again because it's too, too, too scary!" Was the response from my 6 yr old who who couldn't sleep last night because he was sure the bad guy was in our house. Be careful not to take sensitive kids to this. I think adults would find this movie as funny as kids.
