I was disappointed. I had high hope as the first was great. It was okay but I saw it at a cinebistro and wasn't worth the price of the tickets and I ordered food.

Why bother buying the DVD with the Fandango Sticker??? RIPPED OFF!!!

I bought the Dispicable Me DVD partially because it had a sticker on it proclaiming that I could get $7.50 off of a movie ticket on Fandango, and figured it would cut the cost a bit to go see the second movie. I registered the code from the sticker, and attempted to use it. Consistently, I got the good old, bold red, "You must activate/register this code first". I kept trying. It never worked, and I wound up paying full price. Never again. I'm disgusted, Fandango. The movie itself was ok. Funny. Cute. Heartwarming. Would have been a lot more satisfying if my coupon code had worked. I'll be warning my moviegoing/DVD purchasing friends to not bother with this ruse of yours. Thanks for nothing.

A good time for all (especially Minion lovers)

I thought this installment of the Despicable Me franchise was good enough as a stand alone. Especially since I really did not have much recollection for the first one since they are spaced so far apart. I loved the focus on the Minions, a good 75% of the movie, and the love affair between the main characters. It was my 3 3/4 year old daughter's first feature film and she gave it two thumbs up.

Very funny, but some scary moments

We saw this movie yesterday and laughed so hard, but--and I quote--"I never want to see this movie again because it's too, too, too scary!" Was the response from my 6 yr old who who couldn't sleep last night because he was sure the bad guy was in our house. Be careful not to take sensitive kids to this. I think adults would find this movie as funny as kids.

Great movie, but not as good as original

This is a good movie, but obviously not as good as the original. Agnus loses a lot of her cuteness, and only gets awwws in a couple of scenes. Margo becomes a stereotypical teenager, and Edith becomes obsessed with violence and dresses like a ninja. Gru remains the same as he was at the end of the movie. As a caution to those taking little kids, there are some pretty disturbing scenes involving the minions, and may upset small children.
