    A beautifully done revenge film!!

    I had no idea what to expect from this film but I am pleased with the outcome. This film is awkward. . yes perfect awkwardness. There are moments when it's silent and the characters are uncomfortable and you can feel it and understand it and even think, "I'd be like that too in that situation."
    Colin is great, he acts so much with is facial expressions and you can literally watch him and know what he is feeling and understand it. He shifts and acts with his body language so perfectly in this film. In one scene he is tough and the next he is soft and all is done with his physical languages. I love it. This film has great action scenes and as loud as they are, they have a quiet beauty to them, they are useful action scenes, not js random action but action that belongs in the frame.
    The connections between the characters are well played and very well defined. By the end of this movie you learn who Colin is along with him. He doesn't get himself until her realizes what needs to be done

    A excellent film

    Really loved this film. Colin Farrell did a excellent job as a man seeking revenge. The French girl playing his love interest was very convincing in her anger. She was still quite beautiful so I could see the attraction between them both. Two souls in pain looking to heal each other in love. Again I loved this film and would buy it on blue ray when it comes out.

    Writing? Vomit

    Terrible writing. Horrible story development. Unrealistic. Corny. Up until the last minute the movie was bad. If the situation had been different, I would've walked out. But I was at a cinebistro enjoying wine and I burger so I stayed. My girlfriend was sleeping.

    Alright...

    From the previews it looked pretty interesting but actually watching it turned out to be a different outcome. I wasn't totally disappointed but wasn't thrilled out my socks either...

    Good story, slow moments

    Had some slow dark moments with soft speaking and dark scenery...... welll whenever that happens in a movie zzzzZZZZZZ! woops am I asleep?? LOL! but it was a good story line once I woke up and followed along with what it was all about. I enjoyed it, my husband thought it could have used more action throughout instead of just the beginning and end.

    Dead Man Down - a solid B

    I was begining to believe that Hollywood could only produce 90 minutes of mindless car chases, random helicopter crashes and explosions and call it a movie.

    Dead Man Down has a good story, good acting and just enough action to put an edge on things. Go see it.

    Dead Man Down (Must See, Must Go Movie!)

    This is a must see. You could not pridict the next scene or the next turn of events. It was a mind bender, turn of events through out the whole movie. You will enjoy this action, but sometimes brutial and bloody movie. I think it will be one of the BEST movies of the year 2013! What a nice way to experience the Movie Theaters for the first time. I was so use to going to see movies that were so predictable and borring same old themes, it was hard for me to justify spending over $10.00 per person to go to the movies. This one was worth over $20.00 per person to see it. Very intertaining and made me want to go to the movies again now. I hope the other new movies out there are as good as this one is or at least 1/2 as good so they are worth paying to go see them. This movie restored my faith in the Movie Theater experience. Would definately watch this movie again even at over $10.00 per person to watch it. This is a Must see or Must Go!

    The movie was well shot. Great cinematography. I am a huge fan of Noomi so that's why I decided to go see it. I was pleasantly surprised. Colin Ferrell did a great job a well. If you have nothing todo and want to go to the movies... See this one!!

    Dead Man Down

    Anything with Terrance Howard in it is GREAT. Suspenseful plot and lots of action. I would see it again.
