If You Can't Go to DCI Finals...

If you couldn't go to finals, then you ought to have gone to see DCI Big, Loud, & Live 10. This "movie" experience is as close as it gets to watching drum corp from the best seats at the stadium ( without actually being in those seats). I cried through most of the corps because the performances were just that good--and the cinematography translated the whole effect that well! It is a great way to introduce new fans to the drum corps activity, too. Next year, I will insist on taking (or sending if I actually get to go to finals) more of our children's band members. Perhaps I'll even pop for some of those tickets. DCI Big, Loud, & Live is a motivator for any musician!

DCI: Big, Live & Loud 10 was exactly what the title says about it: the theater was filled with incredible drum & bugle corps sound. The loud sound and clear footage made it seem like I was there watching the drum corps in Lucas Oil Stadium. There was commentary between some performances that made the film more personal and interesting. Great movie for those who can't be at the performance in person.

The show was amazing! It was actually better than going to the venue itself because it was climate controlled, comfortable seating, and I could buy tickets ahead of time so there was no crowd to deal with. The sound in the theatre was incredible! You could really hear all the different things going on and see up close and personal the highlighted activities, hear what the groups were saying, and singing and trying to bring to life. I would definitely attend this again and encourage anyone to go who is on the fence. You do not get better entertainment for the money. The groups are extremely polished musicians and artists. We enjoyed the show thoroughly!
