As with any live drum corps.......ENTERTAINMENT! I absolutely loved the fact I could watch indoors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was the biggest perk and didn't have to travel far. :)

Great prelim show. Disappointed with the Cadets, poor choice of them. Total out of character for the Cadets. Great camera work and sound recording. Great Job DCI. Living in Hawaii this is the only way we have a chance to see a great drum corp show. Congratulation! Albie, St. Vincent's cadets. Bayonne

Big Loud & Live 9

For the msot part, this was enjoyable. The severe weather caused a 15 minute delay/outage though. I would have enjoyed it more had the camera people knew what they were doing. When one is watching a Drum Corps., band, of any sort of musucal presentation that was designed to be executed on a football field, then one should have the common sense that the audience would like to see the entire field of vision! Doing closeups of individual performers, and showing the audience in their seats, completely takes away from the "live" performance going on!!! REGARDS, Ray Bassett

This was a live feed of the DCI prelims from Indianapolis. The picture and sound was fantastic, I wish I could watch DCI like this all of the time. Commentary was a bit much at times, talking over music. The live feed was interrupted by severe weather in Indy so we had to stare at a frozen picture for about 10 minutes. Once the live feed came back things were fine. They even showed the two corps over again at the end due to the loss of the signal. I enjoyed this show very much. I have been playing drums since I was seven, I am now fifty two. I saw my first drum corps in 1974 when Santa Clara Vangaurd was just starting. I have known many people involved in DCI for a long time including my nephew who was on the cymbal line for Teal Sound two summers ago. I would love to see DCI do this at theaters more often. DRUMS RULE!!!

We realize weather interruption was not the fault of the theatre or DCI for that matter. What was disappointing @ AMC in Mission Valley San Diego was the lighting. Lights did not dim when movie came on. Neither overhead or side lighting was dimmed for a long while which promted my husbandt to go out to guest services to discuss this. He was told there was a technical problem they were working on & should be done by intermission. This was not true! Second visit after inter. he found janitor & the janitor made a call & lights were dimmed immediately. When we went to guest services after movie over found the same guy who again was not listening & started to lie again. Unfortunately the lighting ruined our enjoyment of this movie. Too much talking from the broadcasters while preshow was on. Movie not as clear as last year once lighting dimmed. You wanted to know how I felt & I told you. May not attend next year!
