In Russia, Vampires come to you...
If you like hokey, cheeky, and funny in your Vampire flick - here's the chocolate for your peanut butter! Not your run-of-the-mill summer blockbuster, but that's exactly the reason I went. In a summer of sequels, this one definitely holds it's own with great characters set in a bizarre world that balances the forces of light and dark. Have fun!!!

Great Looking Movie!
Okay, I will admit it... the plot of this movie is pure hokum and nearly incomprehensible, but the movie looks great! This movie proves that Russian sci fi, fantasy and horror filmmaking has come into its own. The visuals are really impressive. The scene near the end that shows Moscow being destoyed is jaw dropping. The visuals, stunts and special effects are pretty much as good as anything you might see in a big Hollywood blockbuster. If you have seen the previous film in this series, "Nightwatch" then you should definitely see this. It is more of the same, just bigger and better!

Day Watch
Well we won the cold war but now there seems to be another thre[BLOCKED WEBSITE]ing from our former enemy. I never thought a movie could be overly simplistic and tortuosly confusing at the same time all while having to read subtitles as well. Possibly if I had opted to stick around for the whole unbearable plot I would have grown more interested. Alas it proved impossible. Seems M&M peanuts was the highlight of the unremarkable event.
