While this is definitely not a stupid movie, there's nothing special in it. And definitely not for a movie theatre as the movie will lose it's atmosphere - imagine hearing your neighbour-watchers munching popcorn and talking while "oh, darling! there's someone in the house!" suspense? That's my experience... You'd better watch it from home, if there's nothing more interesting out there.
I have a very weird feeling about other comments: are these people have so low artistic levels? Or they are being paid for excellent reviews??? There's really nothing special about this movie to give it "Go" or higher mark...

This movie is about alien abductions [I'm not giving away anything here , it's in the trailer] . Keri and Josh are a married couple with two kids . When strange , disturbing events start happening [on one occasion , a flock of birds just dive bomb into their house , killing themselves , of course] they are at a loss as to what is the cause . The kids even start acting strange and it's not too much later when the parents join in on the looney tunes . Dakota plays their oldest son . J.K. plays an expert on alien abductions and shares his knowledge , when all the other explanations give out . The story is interesting [if you like the subject matter] but I did not care for the ending .
I would not buy this one on DVD but it would be a good rental .

Movie was pretty good. Not nearly as scary as I'd hoped it would be. Had a nice little story line to it. I say if you have nothing else to do, definitly worth the movie ticket price. P.s. has a pretty surprise ending!

If you liked The Fourth Kind with Mila Jovovich, then you probably will like this movie also. Not too many films have explored the abduction theory and I think this one isn't bad. It's entertaining, anyway. And the twist was truly unexpected.
