The stranger who suddenly arrives at the doorstep of Collinwood disappears just as suddenly. A new antique shop in Collinsport is opened up by a curious married couple, Philip and Megan Todd (Christopher Bernau and Marie Wallace, the latter performer previously seen as the artifically created Eve and the lunatic Jenny Collins). Visiting the shop, Julia purchases an original painting by 19th century master Charles Delaware Tate. Dennis Patrick, who earlier appeared in Dark Shadows as the blackmailing Jason McGuire, here steps into the role of Elizabeth's long-estranged husband, Paul Stoddard.
