  Good but should be rated R

  This movie is slap-stick comedy at its best as only the Wayans can deliver. However, I felt that it should have pushed the envelope a little further and got an 'R' rating. It is nice to see they are passing the torch on to their kids, as D. Wayans Jr. did a good job. The only thing I disapproved of was the blow to Brandy. That was a very sensitive situation which has almost ruined her career. She didn't deserve that diss. But the film is laugh-out-loud funny. If a friend asked me to see it again I would.

  the movie was very funny and very entertaining. I don't think I stopped laughing during the entire movie. There were a few parts towards the end that didn't make sense though. Overall, its a good movie.

  omg this movie is hilarious! im 13 years old and i though it was very funny. but some things arent good for kids under 12 if they are mature enough for some sexual humor. but seriously you have to go because this is one of the funniest movies ive seen in a few years...WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???!!!!! GO SEE DANCE FLICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Dance Flick

  This movie was HILARIOUS!!! It was even funnier than I expected.
  Now, I see that many people rated it as 'OH NO'. If you haven't seen any of the movies parodied in the film and don't like goofy humor then I can understand why. BUT if you have watched Fame, Step Up and especially Save The Last Dance, then I am sure you will LOVE this movie!!!

  Good 4 A While

  This movie is pretty good but only holds the audiences attention for so long. In the beginning it seemed to be made of laugh after laugh but then my attention was lost. As the movie gets closer to the end, the plot doesn't feel as cohesive and especially when stupid things that don't make sense start occurring and from a comedic standpoint don't make sense either. Stuff was just being thrown in at the end in an effort to get as many laughs as possible and as a result turned out to be overkill for the film. All in all, I could've waited until this came to DVD.

  Oh Mi Gawdd!!

  okay so I have to admit this movie had its overly cheesy parts and was a bit inconsistent, but seriously it was hilarious! def not a good family movie though, don't bring anyone under 12 or 13. Great movie for a group of friends that love to laugh, but not if you don't like the humor like "that's what she said". it's full of sexual stuff and bad language. GO SEE DANCE FLICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  If you want to see a movie bad, and you've seen everything else...

  Maybe my title isn't the strongest endorsement, but truthfully anyone who expected this to be a theatrical masterpiece can blame theirself as much as the Wayan's brothers.
  
  It's not a good movie by anyones definition but if you really feel like going to the movies and have seen everything else it's not so bad it's going to scar you for life.
  
  We actually caught ourself laughing at a few parts. You can take what you saw in the previews, and add about an equal amount of funny moments the previews don't show you, then suffer through the rest.

  Very Funny for OLDER TEENS & ADULTS! PG-13 NOT!!

  I've read a lot of reviews from people talking about how this was not a funny movie and it was lame. I beg to differ. This movie has the same kind of crude humor as all the Scary Movies that they've created. If you liked those then you'll like this. Dance Flick just makes fun of dance movies, teen films, and musicals that's the only difference. Also I would strongly advise parental guidance AND attendance(don't buy the ticket and leave them). There are several sexually suggestive comments and scenes that young teeneagers or children shouldn't see. Like there is a dance instructor named Ms. Cameltoé. Yeah, you can guess what her character is about. She gets about 5 mins of screen time and some shots are up close (and personal).
